MY APPROACH

I realize that many people may come to therapy with, perhaps, some trepidation or hesitation and, certainly, many questions.  I work to create a safe, empathic environment where we can explore your concerns at a pace that feels comfortable to you. We'll work together to help you build a deeper and more compassionate understanding of yourself. In order to do this, we will explore your issues without judgment, helping you to feel more empowered and accepting of yourself. 


Through talk therapy we will explore your childhood experiences and your previous relationships as a way to better understand you today.  Doing so allows us to identify and help you reconnect with your strengths, develop new coping skills, build more meaningful relationships and live a more fulfilling life.


And with that increased awareness - in essence, a healthier relationship with yourself -

you will be empowered to better handle the problems that brought you to therapy.

This will also help you have more meaningful and fulfilling relationships with

those in your life, and will help you find relief from symptoms such as panic attacks

and self-critical thoughts.
