ABOUT ME

I’m a California transplant who hails originally from the East Coast.

With a  masters degree in journalism from New York University, I was a freelance reporter for a number of publications, including The New York Times, for over ten years. Eventually, I switched careers to pursue my

true passion - becoming a therapist to help people with life's challenges.

I received my masters in social work from the University of Southern California, and have been working for more than five years with adults dealing with a wide range of psychological issues. I have had the privilege of working with clients at the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center, the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, the Student Counseling Center at USC and, most recently, The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills.
